Note: Please do not call the Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camps directly, due to their heavy retreat schedule, you will receive a quicker and more complete response by directing your question to JMN. Any information you need, we will provide for you.

What’s the registration deadline?

Early bird registration ends March 19, 2017. Regular registration ends April 15, 2017.

When should I get there?

Check in starts at 4PM on Friday, May 12th, and check out is no later than 1PM on Sunday, May 14th.

How much does it cost?

Early Registration rates:
Adult – $265 ($30 discount),
Youth (ages 3 -17 years) – $110 ($30 discount),
Infant (2 and under) – $60.

Regular Registration (After April 7, 2013)
Adults – $295
Youth (ages 3-17 years) – $140
Infant (2 and under) – $60

How can I pay?

All payments can be made online via the 2017 Retreat Registration. If you would prefer to pay by another method, please contact retreat@jewishmultiracialnetwork.org.

Do I have to pay it all at once?

Absolutely not! If you can’t pay all at one time, you will be able to pay a minimum of 50% of the total at the time of registration, and make payments until the total is paid. The total must be paid by the end of general registration—April 15th, 2017. If for some reason the total is not received by this time, your registration may be cancelled and the refund policy will apply.

Is financial assistance available? How can I raise the funds I need in order to attend?

We encourage you to apply if you need financial support and we will do what we can to help. If you would like to offset your registration fee by volunteering (temporarily serving as staff, a mentor, or offering a service) during part of the retreat, be sure to note that in your application. Spaces are limited for this opportunity and will be arranged on a first-come first-serve basis.

If you’d like to be considered for financial assistance, please complete our Financial Assistance Application Form no later than Monday, March 25th at 5pm. We understand that there can be discomfort in applying for financial support, therefore your application will be kept strictly confidential. We encourage everyone to be creative and resourceful in raising funds to attend the retreat. Past participants have requested financial support from their rabbi’s discretionary fund (synagogue, on-campus university Hillel), family & friends, local Jewish Federation, and work-in-exchange-for-attendance programs, etc.

Is there a family discount if I’m registering more than one person?

Unfortunately, not at this time.

Why can’t I pack my own food?

Many of our community keep kosher. We specifically chose a kosher supervised facility so we can be inclusive of all our Jewish family. This requires that all edible items go through the kitchen at the facility to be certain that there are no mistakes made. We strongly believe in building an inclusive environment and we trust that you will respect our kosher family.

Is the food kosher?

Yes. The entire Berkshire Emanuel Camp including their kitchen and dining room is Glatt Kosher, and they have a representative on site at all times. All of the meat at the Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp is glatt kosher and all dairy products during the retreat will be chalav yisrael.

I have food allergies. How can I assure that there is something for me?

Please provide us with all allergy information during registration; we will work to accommodate your needs.

Cancellation Policy

JMN has a generous cancellation policy. Participants who cancel by April 1st, 2017 are guaranteed a refund minus a $36 per household processing fee. Unfortunately, unless there is someone to acquire your reservation, we cannot guarantee a refund after the cancellation deadline. Registration for this event includes housing and meal accommodations. Transportation to and from the retreat center is the responsibility of the registrant and an additional cost.
