Much of the Jewish community is simply unaware of our people’s rich and varied history. Therefore, education is a critical component of inclusion. As our American Jewish family grows increasingly diverse, it is important to provide the larger community with materials and messages that embrace the mixed multitude we have always been. The Jewish Multiracial Network has compiled resources to help you reflect Jewish diversity in religious education, deepen your organization’s understanding of the intersection between being a racial or ethnic minority and Jewish identity, and provided examples of ways to address inclusion through religious themes.
