Community

The Jewish Multiracial Network brings Jewish multiracial families and individuals together to learn about and celebrate their Judaism.

We are committed to diversity and inclusive community-building, and seek to help our members strengthen their identities as Jews and members of other ethnic groups. We create opportunities for learning, nurturing and support for a large and growing part of the Jewish community that often feels marginalized by mainstream Jewish organizations.

At the heart of our community is the JMN Listserv discussion group. The listserv is a medium to discuss issues affecting Jewish multiracial families and individual Jews of color and to provide members with a safe space in which they can express themselves. JMN has adopted guidelines for listserv use to ensure that this forum stays true to its mission and accords the views of its members proper respect. The guidelines are posted here. Please adhere to these guidelines when posting in order to create the most positive experience possible for everyone in the listserv community. Thank you kindly for your consideration.

We’ve extended our presence to Facebook where you’ll find stories on our Wall relevant to our organization and community of racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse Jewish families and individuals.

JMN now has a central repository for photos. We hope you enjoy being able to review them at Flickr. Of course, we only upload these with your permission. So if that’s good for you, let us know. Send us the photos you’d like posted and we’ll do the rest. Thanks.

Photogalleries The JMN website now has accessible photography galleries. As with Flickr, we only upload them with your permission. Photographs here contain a watermark and can be displayed one at a time or in a slideshow. Enjoy.
