Ola! Jewishmultiracialnetwork,
Thanks for your thoughts, Delve into the fascinating techniques of casting glass. Glass casting employs further glass and the conclusion pieces are chunkier than usual glass fusing, which is traditionally flat. These items posses excess deepness and dimension. At periods referred to as kiln casting, in these ways molten glass is permitted to harden in a mould.

Does the story of Ruby Bridges ring a bell. This behavior is called prejudice, ethnocentrism and racism and should be criminal. Next, why does the question of who is Jewish and who is not seem to only come up in the context of non-Whites; Jews come in all colors. Further, the school administrators who acted with malice, prejudice, ethnocentrism and racism that are also charged with the obligation of educating and molding of so many young minds, have revoked their right to continue in their official capacities due to their outrageous demonstrations of poor moral character and behavior. There should be zero-tolerance for this behavior and school administrators who act in this fashion should simply be removed. Finally, the biggest tragedy of all, is that while they await the hearing, these five little girls remain at home, still refused the right to an education only because of the fact they are Ethiopian and Black, and suffer the loss of critical learning.

Racism is the result of a rotting mind, filled with raw hate, arrogance, and envy. It's really bad when it comes from someone who, through ancient and modern historic teachings, should know the effects of it's destructive power.

Hello,

I am overwhelming happy to see that the recent Jewish Multiracail Network web issue includes 2 articles directly related in adoption and includes an adoption 'tag'.

I wish that I could say the same for the JMNT chat line, where members are instructed to preface all posts on adoption with OT (off topic). That is ironic in a group that works hards and lobbies for Jews of Color to be accepted in mainstream Jewish entities.

The OT rule is an unwelcoming feature that should be suspended.

Hi Trixie, I think the retreat is a fantastic experience overall but it can be challenging with young kids in any travel or community setting. I've been to many retreats over the years with my five kids, both this one and others. This one is really meaningful to my family. It's a great thing to have your kid grow up with this multi-racial Jewish community as a reference point. The earlier you can start the better. It has been so important for us as a family. There is wonderful childcare and programming but you will still have to be "on" at key times for your own kid or kids. It's a great way to meet other parents going through similar things. If you want to talk off-line, please feel free as I don't keep up on this listserve very well. All the best, Julie Greenberg (in Philly) JulieGberg@gmail.com

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if there is an "ideal" age at which to start bringing children to camp? What activities are offered for toddlers? Has anyone had experience bringing small children and would you recommend it? Is there enough for them to do? I am sure the agenda changes year-to-year...so does anyone have a sense of what activities would be offered for them this year?

We live in GA so this would be a HUGE travel commitment and we'd like to understand what activities would be available for the kids before we pay registration. Also if Mom and Dad would have the opportunity for private reflection at any point - without having to chase children. We barely make it to services as it is since childcare is only provided once a month. LOL!

Thanks so much! Have a great day!
